Dr. Valerie L. Swan Oral & maxillofacial Surgery
Excellence
Dr. Swan achieved the status of a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Swan earned her Master’s in Biomedical Engineering with Highest Honors from Johns Hopkins University. After completing her dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. She then completed a one-year internship and a four-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, becoming one of the few female surgeons in the field.
